I loved watching Prince of Tennis before. I had a marathon watching all episodes before in 3 days and I was so psyched when I found out the manga was being continued and now it has come to our television screens once more! This is so nostalgic! I am seeing my favorite Seigaku once again! I think this anime doesn't even need some introduction because every anime fan out there should've at least heard about it but anyways, this time the crew is back to prove themselves that they can be part of Japan's U-17 tennis team. All the best high school and middle school players are being invited to get a chance to display their skills in this tough selection process. That alone should let you know that this series is action-packed with cool, unbelievable, unrealistic tennis matches but it is what makes this anime great! That's what anime stuff should be -- full of imagination! I rarely like slice of life if you should know. LOL.

Anyhow, I am just so happy to see my beloved Eiji and Echizen, my two favorite characters in this anime, once again!!! Yipeee!!!!!!!!!!!! So far, it's great!

promising ecchi anime - HIGH SCHOOL DXD

I, for one, do not really like ecchi anime but there are a few animes out there that I can tolerate the ecchi part as long as the story is good enough such as Air Gear, Ikki Tousen, High School of the Dead, etc. Now, I encountered this series, High School Dxd and I know my boyfriend would be interested in watching this so I we watched the first episode. I didn't like it at first but after watching the first episode, unbelievably... I thought it was good because there were other elements I think that makes this anime worth watching, worth enough to overlook the echhi stuff in it and it's also fun to watch.
Basically, the series is all about Issei who is a natural pervert who was killed by his first girlfriend on their first date who turned out to be a fallen angel. He was saved and reincarnated as a demon by his' school's most popular girl, Rias Gremory, who happens to be an heir to one of the high ranking demon families. From there, Issei's adventure as a demon starts.
The story is fun to watch and at the same time interesting since I know there might be something deeper than just watching all those ecchi stuff. The series can be serious when it has to be.
This anime is surely recommended to guys who love watching ecchi stuff and some stupid guy whose dream is to become a harem king and action-packed stuff as well.

Aquarion Evol - promising winter mecha anime!

After watching the first special almost-an-hour long first episode, I loved the anime right away. The anime is full of CGI but it was great nevertheless. 4 years ago, I was not a big mecha anime fan and I loved Code Geass which had mecha stuff in it although it was not really the main part of the anime. Then my boyfriend did a lot of convincing to make me watch Gundam 00 and when I did, it was the beginning of a newfound interest in mecha anime. From then on, I started watching Gundam Seed and Gundam Seed Destiny, went on to watch Gundam Wing then the most recent one was Eureka Seven. Now, Aquarion Evol came into the picture and I am certainly loving it. Hope the story buildup would be excellent.

Aquarion Evol is all about Amata Sora who had a special power of levitation but hid it because he received a lot of hate because of it from when he was young. One day, he met a girl named Mikono and spent the whole day with her when suddenly villains appeared and attacked the city. Both of them were in danger so he used his power to save Mikono and himself. When he released his power, he unknowingly awakened Aquarion, a legendary weapon and they were able to save the city, beat the bad guys and stuff.
This is just a way too general synopsis but that's basically how the anime is. You have to watch the anime itself to know what I am raving about. The best thing in this anime for me is the soundtrack! I definitely love the opening song and I am going to download it once it is released. Here's the anime's opening theme.

I am really looking forward to watching the whole season! Don't waste any more of your precious time looking for some great anime to watch! Start watching this anime, NOW!

Area no Kishi - great sports anime for this year!

I just watched the first two episodes of this anime and I might be reading the manga if I have the time but so far it's a pretty good anime. The last time I watched a sports anime was Major and the last time I read one was Kuroku no Basket and New Prince of Tennis both of which have an anime aired this year.

Area no Kishi is about Kakeru who half-heartedly quit playing soccer but still became the team's manager nevertheless. His older brother who is famed to be Japan's under-15 ace has really high hopes for Kakeru and still believes that he has the ability to be the best striker of Japan. The title Area no Kishi means "Knight in the Area" which meant per the anime that in a soccer game if Kakeru's brother was the midfield king then Kakeru is the striker knight. Area here means the box that you see on a soccer field just right where the goal is. Kakeru was supposed to be a very skillful soccer player but was paranoid at using his left leg when it caused someone to be injured when he kicked the ball using it. His brother still hasn't given up on his hopes though so one day during a practice match, he made Kakeru his team's striker. Will Kakeru admit that he still loves playing soccer or will he still remain as a manager? Will he be up for the challenge to become Japan's best? Just watch and find out!

Guilty Crown - lovin' it!

I've been looking forward to watching this new anime series ever since I found its PV quite interesting and I also loved the song along with that PV as well. I had the time to watch it yesterday and I have to say, it was a bit boring or dragging during the first half but by the last 5 minutes of the episode, it was truly a roller-coaster ride and I do hope it stays that way. Not that I am looking for a fast-paced anime but a shonen anime in the action genre doesn't really fit a slow pace plot development. Nevertheless, I'll go ahead and watch the rest of this series and I hope it won't disappoint me.

After the outbreak of the unidentified virus "Lost Christmas" in 2029, Japan has been under the control of a multi-nation organization called GHQ. Ohma Shu is a 17 year old boy who has a psychic power in his right hand. He can use the power "Ability of King" to extract tools or weapons from his friends. He has been avoiding making trouble for others but his life changes when he meets a girl Yuzuriha Inori, a member of a resistance guerrilla group called "Undertaker", whose members pilot mecha weapons to fight against the government. Basically, I can't really give a synopsis from what I just watched since I didn't even understand what was going on yet so I just borrowed one from ANN. So there it goes, pretty much interesting and a bit cliched as well but the graphics were just great! I found the songs unique and the background music was good too.
Overall, it's something worth watching for this fall season. I hope you find it interesting too!

Persona 4 - an interesting find

Persona 4 is an anime adaptation of a popular video game with the same title. It's actually, basically, about a guy Narukami who just transferred in. He seems like someone who is just plain bored with life. He became friends with his classmates, Chie, Yosuke and Amagi. One day, they were discussing about a famous TV reporter's murder in their place and with it came up the rumor about a mysterious channel turning on at midnight.

Narukami who just happened to be stuck in his living room at midnight encountered the reality of the rumor and saw the mysterious midnight channel and found himself being sucked in to the television. Fortunately, he escaped from being sucked in since the television was small for him to fit in. He told Yosuke and Chie about his experience. They had mixed reactions of what happened but were interested at the same time. When they were talking about Narukami's experience, they were at Yosuke's family's business establishment that was selling household appliances and they were in front of a television. Suddenly, the next thing they knew, the 3 of them were sucked in to a different dimension with a lot of weird creatures and Narukami summoning something to fight them off. So what now?
I'm not really familiar with this video game franchise simply because I don't play video games but I decided to watch it anyways. Everything was good but not really exceptional. Nothing really that great. The biggest letdown for me was their uniform though. It was annoying and it was really bugging me. I felt uncomfortable watching those weird uniforms.
I don't have much to say about this anime since I'm not even sure if I'll watch this for long because it really didn't leave that much impact but I might be watching for the next 2 or 3 episodes and see how it goes. But for you guys who like fighting anime stuff, this one is good for you. I want to find out a deeper plot and if it is good, I might love this series eventually.

Kimi to Boku - Pure Laidback Humor

This post's title doesn't really make any sense, does it?
Anyways, I watched Kimi to Boku out of curiousity. If you ask me, slice-of-life anime doesn't really interest me that much although I do read some shoujo slice-of-life mangas but this anime was shonen to boot. That was not really my thing. INITIALLY. To my surprise, I enjoyed it quite more than I expected. I thought that watching the first 5 minutes would be enough to make me hit the close button on the page but I lingered and that next thing I knew, it was over and I wanted more! WOW!
So, basically, as what I just mentioned Kimi to Boku is a slice-of-life shonen anime about 4 childhood friends. The story revolves around their friendship and their everyday lives as high school students. The 4 of them have totally different personalities but despite that they remain friends and still hang out even if they are in different classes. I haven't read the manga so I don't know much yet but from what I read in many synopsis, there will be a guy who would join this circle of friends and would bring some change.
I dare say that that summary doesn't sound a least bit interesting to me but you just have to see it to know what I mean. I never was a fan of the slice-of-life genre and I have to say, if I'm not mistaken, this is the first slice-of life anime that I have watched. Really.
What I love about this anime is, of course, the characters and the bond they have -- their friendship. Watching the anime makes me think and wonder how totally different people actually become friends for a long time especially when they even have few similar interests at all. The friendship that the characters portray is very evident even when you are just listening to their ordinary conversations.
Forgive me for this review because I know that you might just say, "That's what a slice-of-life genre works, right?" Well, I'm new with this stuff so please bear with me.
Kudos to the voice actors for making me hook with this anime even after just one episode. Each of the character's personality were portrayed well, thanks to them. I love all of them and I can't wait for the other guy's appearance and see what he will bring.
I love the subtlety and the simplicity of the anime because when the animation is simple, other important things become clear such as seiyuus, conversations, facial expressions, etc unlike action anime that would simply highlight the action scenes more.
Well, as far as I know, I enjoyed watching the first episode. I can't wait for the next one, next week!
So for y'all who wants a refreshing anime who feel tired watching the same old action animes, you can add Kimi to Boku in your must-watch anime every week! It will run for 12 episodes only so just squeeze it in to your hectic schedules and I'm sure you'll have a good time, like I did. Hopefully, you do enjoy it or you'll blame me for wasting all your time. :-)

THEY ARE BACK! - Hunter X Hunter (2011)

Let's face it, almost every person out there who watches anime have already heard about Hunter X Hunter and most of them probably watched the original series, their OVAs included. Anyhow, it seems that most people are still pretty psyched and excited, at the same time anxious, of this remake. This anime is a remake of the 1999 anime which is an adaptation of the still running manga of the same title.

For you guys who haven't watched or read Hunter X Hunter, I believe a brief and simple introduction is a must. Basically, Gon, the main protagonist decides to become a hunter to search for his dad who is a hunter as well. Before becoming a hunter, one has to take the hunter examination which consists of lots of difficult tasks. Here, Gon meets his companions, Killua, Kurapika and Leorio.

Not much spoiler there for other people's benefit. Nevertheless, I have to say, watching the first episode was quite something because I think it would take a lot of getting used to with all the new seiyuus and stuff but it was good. There are still some things that they left out though since it was a pretty much fast-paced episode. It was like squeezing the first 3 episodes in the original anime to fit into just one episode. Makes you think of FMA: Brotherhood. Moving on, personally, I think meeting Kaito (Kite) the hunter was an important part to show but they didn't and that's one chunk missing for those who don't know Hunter X Hunter. Mito's voice actress sounds a little old than what she looks like, it was creepy. I had a bit of goosebumps there. Gon sounds extra cuter which is a bit weird but no complaints. I love Leorio so far. Kurapika was good but nothing special really. I can't wait for Killua's appearance since he's my favorite HxH character and how he would be portrayed would, I think, make or break this series.

As for the music, it was pretty decent. It was good but I have to say, I loved Ohayou before. I read in the anime forums that the background music sucks but I don't see how although it was nothing great as well.

There's still lots of things to take into account but the animation, especially with the modern technology and everything, is great compared to an anime made 10 years ago. I mean, come on, obviously.

Let's just watch how this remake would turn out. I heard that this will run for 45+++ episodes. What happens by then would determine if they would continue doing HxH until the end.

Kudos to Madhouse for a good remake. I hope it gets better. :-)

Ao NO EXoRCist!!! - unexpectedly flabbergasting!

First off, it's been approximately 7 months or so since I last made a review. Well, that has something, wait, no, EVERYTHING to do with LAW SCHOOL! It's been a month since summer break started and I still a month more to enjoy the rest of this blissful vacay. If you're asking why I just made a review now, that would be because I was busy reading manga and the only anime I watched this summer so far was Ao no Exorcist. I did watch the first episode of Deadman Wonderland which I just recently finished reading the manga till the last update before the first ep was released. I just hate to tell you this but it was rather a bit disappointing so I haven't watched any episodes after it. The other anime released at the same time the first episode of Deadman Wonderland came out was Ao no Exorcist. I was a bit hesitant to watch it because the trailer was good but not really enough to get me interested but I watched it anyway and I was totally flabbergasted! I didn't expect the anime to be so good and I haven't read the manga by then, really!

Ao no Exorcist (aka Blue Exorcist) tells the story of Rin Okumura who after some unfortunate events lead him to go on a journey to become the most powerful exorcist and beat the hell out of Satan who happens to be his father. Confused? I just told you the general concept of the whole story. The whole story is about the whole world is divided into two dimensions where humans live in a world we call Assiah and demons live in Gehanna. Interference between these two dimensions is not allowed but despite all this demons still interfere in Assiah by possessing creatures or objects. Exorcists exist solely to maintain peace and order in Assiah by exterminating these demons. The ambitious Satan wanted to dominate Assiah and to realize this, Rin bore the curse of being Satan's illegitimate son who possesses a body that of Assiah and a soul that of Gehanna. Rin's foster father, who is an exorcist, sacrificed himself to save Rin and his death made Rin want to take the path of being an exorcist and beat Satan.

Well, that was interesting enough. After watching the 2nd episode, I read the whole manga until its recent chapter. I have to say, Ao no Exorcist is one of the few anime series that won't disappoint you after reading the manga. You know, I have this flaw, when I start reading the manga, I lose interest in watching the anime or that I am not so enthusiastic in watching it. I just watch it for the sake of watching it. Well, most of the times that is. Ao no Exorcist won't disappoint you and the seiyuus are very amazing! The songs? SUPERB! Come on, Uverworld as opening and 2pm, a good korean band, as ending, NICE! READY READY READY for the TAKE OFF! :-)

Ao no Exorcist is one of the best anime so far this 2011! :-)

Angel Beats -- left me with mixed emotions!

     Angel Beats is one of those uniquely mind-boggling anime that would leave you wanting for more when it ends and makes your mind think of what-ifs or leaves you with more questions than when you started it. Amazingly, this anime just had everything in it without ruining the whole series. What I am trying to say is that, in this anime we find just the right amount of humor in it, and a lot of emotional/sentimantal scenes in it but has great action as well! I found myself laughing so much and silently wiping off those tears I tried not to shed as well. All in all this is one anime that makes you reflect on a lot of things.
     Before everything else, Angel Beats is an anime which dives into a world where people who get stuck in it because they died with regrets or, more or less, were not able to fulfill their dreams. This another concept of what we call "purgatory". Human souls are sucked into this world and we then find the protagonist, Otonashi, who suddenly finds himself waking up in this world without an inkling of what is happening. Imagine waking up one day only to find someone who suddenly tells you "You are dead". Otonashi joins this certain group who calls themself the Afterlife Battlefront and fights with them against a girl whom they call "Angel" or tenshi in japanese. From here on, he struggles together with his newfound friends to understand what the purpose of this world's creation to human souls such as theirs.
     I love this anime because it had lots of emotional stuffs going on amidst all the battles of the Afterlife Battlefront. The ending was quite heart-wrenching too but, nevertheless, quite satisfying and unexpected too. The anime's soundtrack is also very good and we get to see this anime band called "Girls Dead Monster" which is of course was made for this anime only but their songs were quite good. I loved their "Crow Song" the best.
     Well, what more can I say? This anime is amazing! I recommend this to anyone who wants a lot of action in an anime with humor and emotional stuff! Have a great time watching this unique anime that would satisfy your needs of a totally different kind of anime.

Amazing! High School of the Dead has paved its way to awesomeness!

This anime series has so much in it that you should not miss this at all!!!! NEVER! This anime is very unique in more ways than just one. This is all about zombies, yeah -- zombies, but I love how they present the story. I know you have seen movies like Dawn of the Dead and all that crap (but I haven't!) but I do not know why I love this anime so much even after just watching the first episode. First of all, before I go on telling all the things I love about this anime, I'll just tell you a lil bit of what I know about it. This series is all about Japan being flooded by zombies and also the rest of the world for that matter. It centers on a group of high school students trying to survive until this mess actually ends. Sounds a little bit boring and a bit stereotypical but don't get fooled because, mind you, just watching the first episode would make you get hooked up with this anime.

I love everything about this anime. It has nice drawing (a lot of ecchi stuff too which I usually hate). The music is amazing and the best part is that the plot presentation. I love how the plot develops in a smooth way and haven't I mentioned that action scenes fill up more than 70% of each episode? Not to mention all the blood and gore that it has too!
If you want some new kind of anime and a good watch -- I recommend this anime to every anime freak out there! You'll definitely have a good time on this one! :-)

Hilarious B Gata H Kei!!!!

This is a series I just finished last week and it was so fun the whole time. It was about a popular girl named Yamada whom anyone would think has a lot of sexual experiences when, in reality, she doesn't have any of those things. To spice things up, she sets a goal of having a hundred fuck buddies to learn a lot about sex. There she goes looking for a perfect target for her first fuck buddy and then she nevertheless choose a guy who also doesn't have any experience like her. This is where the story starts rolling.

In this anime, we find the protagonist going through a lot just to have that first time but in her journey towards that ultimate goal, she learns a lot of things -- that sex is not what it is if it is not that with the right person. Although she climbed hills and mountains to have that first time, she gets to understand what love is and learn what love is all about.
I like this series in a way because it makes you laugh a lot. A good series to watch on those boring days. Really.

Gundam Seed - a nice spectacle!

Gundam Seed is the 3rd Gundam series that I watched and it was an unexpected delight although it has its own flaws but it was still a great watch. Shouldn't expect less for a Gundam series.
Gundam Seed is all about the same usual plot that we see with other Gundam series but very unique in its own way. This series is all about the protagonist, Kira, who is a pacifist but was eventually thrown into a war he was not willing to take part in and in which he plays a very big role. The series happens at a time where mankind is divided into two - the 'Naturals' (ordinary human beings) and the 'Coordinators' (human beings that are genetically altered to have unnatural abilities that make them stronger than most people). During this time, an unfortunate event caused a huge conflict between the two that resulted to an all-out war that would eventually mean the eradication of one or the other because either don't have any wish to co-exist with the other. In the middle of this huge war are two friends who are forced to fight each other for the things that they want to protect but could they ever find a way to escape this path that they are pushed into taking?
What I love about this Gundam series is the friendship that the two main characters share. Although the mobile suits are a bit lame compared to Gundam 00 but Freedom and Justice were amazing. The only downside that I see with this series is that it was dragged too much in its first 20+ episodes which I, obviously, don't appreciate but the 2nd half makes up for it especially the last 10 episodes which was really fast-paced.
I am looking forward to watching Gundam Seed Destiny ASAP if I ever have the time to watch it since I enjoyed watching Gundam Seed and I hope it won't be a disappointment.

Itazura na kiss - shojo cliche yet enjoyable!

Itazura no Kiss is one of the few shoujo anime that I have watched that has the stereotypical shoujo theme in it which, for the most part, I hate. Despite that, I , surprisingly, enjoyed watching it.
Itazura no Kiss is about this dumb girl, Kotoko, who has a huge crush on Irie who happens to be the number one in almost everything in school, heck, even the whole of Japan! Kotoko decided to confess her feelings to Irie by giving him a love letter only to be rejected right on the spot. Poor Kotoko... what should a girl at such a tender age do after this heartbreaking encounter with her first love? Give up or pursue endlessly on this one-sided love affair? Kotoko's life was about to change and how would she react when she finds out that she has to live under the same roof with the very guy who rejected her?!?! Is this torture or a blessing in disguise, maybe. Only a couple of episodes, and throw in some junk food on the table, would you be able to find out.
I enjoyed watching this anime because it has a lot of hilarious stuff in it but it wasn't too much for my taste. Although I do hate the protagonist but I admire her, in a way, because she doesn't give up that easily and I just don't wanna think about how dumb she is. Ultimately, I love Naoki Irie! Woohoo!!!!
If you are about to decide on watching a romantic comedy shoujo anime then this is one of the few that you have to watch and I tell you there are still a lot to choose from if you want this kind of anime. I'm gonna make reviews of those when I have the time.

MIND-BOGGLING KUROZUKA!!!!

There's only one-word that best describes this anime --- MIND-BOGGLING! Dont'get the wrong idea because I love those kind of anime that makes my mind work its way around the story/plot. What I am trying to say is that this anime makes you think on a lot of things especially since it is not presented in its chronological order. It keeps going back and forth from the past, present, and, maybe, the future as well. I really don't know.

This anime is actually a very twisted story about an immortal couple. At the beginning, we see Kuro, who at a young age was given the task to lead his clan, with his disciple, Benkei. A lot of people are after Kuro's life which gives him no choice but to lead a life of constant vigilance. Some time when Kuro and Benkei were travelling at the mountains, they came by a shelter that was owned by a beautiful maiden named Kuromitsu. The inevitable attraction Kuro and Kuromitsu have for each other led them to their own demise or maybe not but this is certainly the start of a twisted life they lead from there on.

What I really, REALLY love about this anime are the ACTION SCENES!!! They're one of the most amazing anime actions I have, by far, encountered in this freakish anime life that I lead but you do get what I mean right? So if you are up to some cool blood-gushing, blood-draining, "matrix-ey" action scenes then I will surely have to recommend KUROZUKA to you! I also love the story! It is not as simple as you think it may be and I just love it. I also know that there are a lot of people there that think otherwise but, well, this is my life so I don't give a damn what you say! PEACE! Well, just try watching it though! It only lasts for 12 episodes so it's not that long!

Reborn! -- A must-watch shonen anime!

Katekyoshi Hitman Reborn is an anime I enjoyed so much although the first few episodes got dragged a little but it’s great as the story develops.
This anime is about a scaredy-cat Tsunayoshi who was unexpectedly given the responsibility to become the next generation mafia leader and to get this cowardly boy to fix up his act – he was to be tutored by Reborn. This is full of hilarious scenes and a lot of them very stupid but this has got to be one of the few anime that made me laugh so much. Although I just mentioned about this anime being so damn funny but when the situation calls for it – it can, surprisingly, be utterly serious! Did I forget to add how jam-packed with cool action scenes this anime have? They really do! Why else would I even bother to watch it in the first place?!?
The art is pretty decent and I love Gyokudera! I love him but I love his cat more! LOL! One of the major things I totally love about this anime is its soundtrack! I love all the songs they have! I love Dive to World the most by Cherry Blossoms! I am sorry but I just have to mention that song!
As you can see, I enjoyed this anime and I bet that you will too!

Action-packed Soul Eater!

Soul Eater before anything else is an anime I haven't finished watching but don't fret I am actually just 4 episodes left and I don't wanna burst your bubble but I have been in this 4-episode-left state like more than half a year ago. Don't get me wrong. It is not because I didn't love the anime because I really loved it but my dvd got busted and I postpone it and postpone it and now I don't feel much excited to watch it especially since I'm more into reading manga instead.

First of all, Soul Eater is an anime my boyfriend recommended me to watch and I enjoyed watching the first 3 episodes but at that time I was so busy I didn't have much time to do a marathon but when I did... I watched the whole first season non-stop. The story is about a school were students are taught how to fight the villains and it revolves around Maka and Soul. Maka is a famous student because of her parents' fame for being one of the best partners there is. Soul on the other hand, is a guy who turns into Maka's weapon. They both try to become the best. Thus, their journey starts as they get stronger along the way. They are often partnered with some students who became their friends as the story develops. These characters are Kid with his partners-- two sisters and Black
Star –partner Tsubaki. They get along well but some qualms do happen. The story actually gets deeper around the 15th episode.

This anime is very unique and the art is just simple but the colors are kinda distracting sometimes because there is too much contrast that sometimes my eyes just hurt. The soundtrack is very cool and I loved it so much especially the second ending song! The first opening song is actually very catchy and upbeat that I also love listening to that one as well. The story is pretty well-developed and the fights scenes are so cool! I am actually trying to get myself to finish this anime. It's been a long time coming but I am gonna finish it! So if you do crave some anime full of action, this would be a good one for you!

Before I end this review which I made a month ago... I just want to say that I've actually finished Soul Eater last week and Maka was so cool!!!! I love this action-packed anime so if you want some good action anime right now this is one good find!

an intense night of MAJOR!!

          It's been quite a while since the last time I watched an anime that could make me quiver this much! Quiver with excitement! I just had a MAJORathon last night of the anime's first 2 seasons.
          This anime is all about the life of Goro, a baseball prodigy. The main plot of this story is Goro's goal to become a professional baseball player and the whole series is all about his journey to reach it.
          The last time I watched a sports anime was One Outs (what do you know -- another baseball anime!) It's different than most sports anime in a way that this series basically revolves around the main character only. He jumps from one team to another as he grows older - from little league to middle school - to high school - to minor league and finally the major league - unlike Prince of Tennis,Slamdunk, Eyeshield 21 (where characters are given a chance in the limelight). Although this anime shows a lot of teamwork in it but basically its all about how Goro influences his teammates especially when they are faced with an adversity that his teammates think they couldn't overcome but Goro changes this and gives them confidence to turn the tables. I like this anime also because it is not too far from reality unlike Prince of Tennis and Eyeshield 21 where the anime exaggerates the scenes too much which is so impossible to happen in the real world (well, that basically is what anime is for - to make the impossible possible! LOL).

This is such a cool anime and I just want you to know that I finished watching 47 episodes from 11pm until 8pm the next day (with 3 hours of sleep and an extra hour of break in between that). I recommend this to everyone! I loved it! I've heard about this anime years ago and I am just so glad that I gave some time to watch and now - I couldn't stop! That's how I love it!

Dance in the Vampire Bund - unexpectedly Cool so far... for another vampire anime that is!

Dance in the Vampire Bund is all about vampires declaring their existence as truth all over the world and these creatures are led by their princess, Mina Tepes. Mina looks just like a little girl but under this sweet facade of hers is a cunning woman who is ready to crush down anything that gets in the way of her plans. Although she seems like a very brutal person, this girl actually has some deep feelings for Akira, a werewolf who swears his life to protect her. This is all about their story.

Watching the first few episodes of Dance in the Vampire Bund was truly a very good thing. I've watched a handful of vampire-themed animes but it didn't really make such a big impact but watching the trailer of this anime reminded me of Code Geass that was the initial reason why I decided to watch this. I didn't regret it though since I think it would be a good anime so far and I'm expecting a lot because I just recently found out about how this was originally a manga but, in no time, it was turned into an anime and it takes a very good manga story to be turned into an anime so soon but I just hope that they won't just end it for like 25 episodes without ending the whole story because I've had enough of that crap and I don't want any more of that kind of thing to happen especially to a very good anime.

Got goosebumps with Gundam 00

        Gundam 00 is the only gundam series I have watched so far and I pretty much loved it. I tell you one fact about me and that would be - I seldom watch mecha anime and I just don't know why but I tell you what, this is one heck of a mecha anime and I know lots of you might have something to say about that but what can I do, it's only one of a very rare few mecha animes that I've watched.
        This series is about the world in AD 2307 where people are depending on solar energy and you can only get such from the 3 orbital elevators which are controlled by the 3 superpowers at that time. Wars and rebellions are constantly happening all over the world fighting for these orbital elevators but then a certain group stood up to declare war against the whole world. This group calls themself "Celestial Being" and are known to be using GUNDAMS that are powered by GN particles. This group is led by an elite few who drive these gundams. These guys are F. Seie, Lockon Stratos, Allelujah Haptism and Tiera Erde. These people would make the world even more chaotic than it already is for a peaceful world in the future.
        This anime is very good and I enjoyed watching it so much! If you crave for a mecha anime right now that has a good plot, good art and excellent characters - GUNDAM 00 is what I would recommend!

raving on forever about CODE GEASS!!!

Code Geass will forever be at the top of my list but that is still refutable though. Well, I think it would stay there for quite a long time. Code Geass is known to all otakus in the whole world. I mean, who the hell calls him/herself an anime fan if he/she hasn't watched Code Geass? Come on coz if you honestly haven't? I tell you what! You really do have to watch this amazing anime and I totally recommend that you watch it because you would be missing half of your otaku life!

Anyways, moving on. This anime is all about Lelouche, royal heir to the throne of the Brittania Empire which is trying to control the whole world but something inevitable happened that resulted to him running away from that path. At the beginning of the story, Lelouche seems to be someone who is bored with the life he leads and finds fun in gambling since he got all the brains to win just about anything. He may seem someone who really doesn't care but deep down something starts to stir up his true self to emerge. He unexpectedly finds himself trying to save a weird woman from the Britannia Empire only to be pulled into a world that would change his life tremendously. Oh, I forgot to mention that not just his life is about to change but the fate of the world as well! All the plotting and deceiving just makes you have these goosebumps the entire time watching it! Literally, you really just do! You can't stop watching it once you start and you end up craving to see what's going to happen next!

I love the art of this anime so much especially since it came from CLAMP - the one responsible for Magic Knight Rayearth, X, Cardcaptor Sakura and Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicles... lots more. Well, as everyone knows the usual Li Syaoran happens to appear again in this anime but his name is now Suzaku but, NO, he is not the protagonist but he does play a very important role though so you better brace yourself. This happens to be one of the few mecha animes that I've watched and I loved the fight scenes so much. It is just so awesome! Hands down to everyone that made Code Geass! I just love you so much for bringing such an anime to the otaku world. Oh! I also love Jun Fukuyama (Lelouche's seiyuu, btw). He deserved all those seiyuu awards that he got for this role! I love him so much and his voice as Lelouche! I forgot to mention that the soundtrack of this anime is also superb! You know what? I think you do get the general idea how much I love this anime and I could go on forever raving about the things I love about this anime but it would be much better if you watch it! Well that is if you haven't watched it which I bet you already do! :-)

Action-packed Sengoku BasaRa!

Amidst all these things, a numbeR of leadeRs stood out but something thRew eveRything out of balance when nobunaga tRies to take oveR eveRything and now eveRyone decides to take up aRms, united as one, to defeat this demon.
TheRe aRe a lot of confusing things in this anime especially when it comes to the diffeRent histoRical chaRacteRs based on Japans histoRy that aRe involved because Im not familiaR with it but oveRall it was a gReat watch! The anime was jam-packed with action although the action scenes weRe too much, if you ask me, but it doesnt change the fact that it was Really enjoyable. Im actally looking foRwaRd to its second season this yeaR!

Going Yaoi with Junjou Romantica

This is kind of weird since this is truly a very unique genre and one which I never expect myself to enjoy. I`ve experienced watching yaoi a couple years back by the way. It was Gravitation but I only remember trinkets of it and I never really enjoyed it because I was uncomfortable with the idea watching it.
Junjou Romantica is a popular yaoi anime which is all about the relationship between Akihiko, a novelist, and Misaki, a university student. There are also 2 more couples in the story. They are Hiroki, an associate professor, and Nowaki, a medical student; Miyagi, a university professor and Shinobu, a high school student. The whole series mainly focuses on how these couples got together and the struggles that they eventually have to face for having a relationship that is not accepted by society.
I never expected to have so much fun watching these but, believe it or not, I actually find myself watching my favorite scenes like 4-5 times before I move on to the next episode. I just love how this anime is full of emotions and I certainly have to thank those amazing voice actors for that! For those, who do not mind watching these kind of anime then this is a series you`ll certainly have a good time watching.

Darker than Black Unexectedly Great

It`s been a long time coming and I`ve finally watched it.
This anime is all about a world of contractors, people who have special powers. The ignorant public has to go through their lives without any knowledge of these people. Amidst all of these, a certain contractor stands out whose name is Hei (aka Black Reaper/ Li Sengshun). Hei, together with their group that consists of a normal human who was once a police officer, an animal contractor in the form of a cat and a doll --someone who doesn`t have any emotions at all, does missions for a certain syndicate.
This anime is action-packed and is also full of emotions. I had fun watching this anime because of Hei`s kinda split personality. He has to act like an ignorant/innocent guy but is really a brutal contractor but there are lots of interesting stuff happening in this anime that you want to know more especially about how special Hei is. I also love Hei`s voice actor and the way he changes his voice as a kind guy and as a contractor who can kill without feeling anything.
Overall, I love this anime and now I`m currently watching its 2nd season.
So, what the hell are you waiting for? Start watching Darker than Black right now!

Patience with Gantz

I decided to watch Gantz and finished it the other day. I was interested because it has a weird plot and I`m searching for a good read but then since it has an anime version -- I guess I`ll just watch it and decide if I`m gonna read it right after.
Gantz is totally confusing. After watching the anime, I decided to start reading the manga since I can`t get to the bottom of things and FYI the manga is licensed and is distributed in 5 languages so it got me thinking that it really is a good one. It is still ongoing BTW and it`s now at 306 chapters.
First of all, the anime starts with the main character and an old friend dying at the subway while trying to save this homeless drunk who fell in the subway tracks. After getting hit by the train, they found themselves inside a room with a bunch of other people and a huge black sphere. The story starts rolling when they were to kill this certain alien as a mission but people started dying one after another. What`s going on behind all of this? Well, after watching the anime, I never got any answer so I have to resort to the manga.
Everything in this anime is very good although I get to experience clenching my fists and my heart racing in long durations of time. WHY? Lets just say, the action scenes are unique and your patience tested to its limits. There`s a lot of blood and gore in this anime. There are also ecchi scenes for anyone who likes watching those kind of scenes.
I don`t recommend watching this for the faint-hearted and the short-tempered.

The Adventure of the Fairies Commences!

I read this manga a two weeks ago without any knowledge that it just started airing. Fairy Tail is one manga that got me interested at first because the art made me think of One Piece and I was a little prejudiced when I was thinking it might be similar with One Piece especially since one of the protagonist looks a lot like Luffy but it ranked 6th in mangatraders and 4th in onemanga, it got me thinking to read it nevertheless.
I read more than 150 chapters in 3 days of Fairy Tail. The first chapter really got me hooked and it is nowhere like One Piece. It has a lot of cool action stuff in it and the art is very neat. This was actually made by the very person who made Groove Adventure Rave. It has a lot of things that One Piece lacks especially how the girls in this manga are drawn.
Fairy Tail by the way is about a world of mages that belong to guilds and take on different jobs. One famous guild named Fairy Tail is the center of this story and the adventures faced by a certain team of mages in it that is said to be the strongest team in their guild.

The whole thing is fun and cool. I just hope that the anime keeps up with the expectations since the manga is one of the best there is. FYI, I rarely read shonen manga. This was a first so it really was that great if you were wondering.

Hagane no Renkinjutsushi is back!

It's been a couple of months since Fullmetal Alchemist:Brotherhood aired but I just recently watched it. I was in a FMA marathon these past 3 days.The first FMA that was shown a few years back was my top 1 before it was replaced with Code Geass and now it's only 2nd. Anyways, to start off, the new FMA is one of the best although it's not fair for me to compare it with the first one because it's totally different from each other. I loved each of them in its own way.
FMA:Brotherhood is very fast-paced and I just love it. It's action-packed and is full of humor. The fun parts usually come in during serious scenes and I just love it because I'm not weirded out. It's not awkward. You remember watching some show and it gets serious... then oh! a JOKE! Then it's like --------"Oh! Oookkaayyy.....?!?" HAHA! But in FMA it's totally not like that! LOL
I can't stop looking forward for the next episode. In this FMA, you get to understand more about the whole story and it just keeps getting better after every episode!

W-Juliet - Best gender-bender manga!!!

This manga surely is one of the best I've read so far. It is all about a guy, Makoto, who wishes to be an actor but due to family complications, he is not allowed to pursue this dream. His persistence resulted to an agreement between him and his father that if he can graduate high school as a GIRL without being caught then he could pursue his dream.
I've read quite a few gender-bender kind of manga but this one really stands out. I love this manga because it is very excellent in how it develops each of the characters--not just the main characters. Each of the families of both the main characters are portrayed very well. This is a very hilarious manga to read and it also has a share of action scenes because both families are the best when it comes to martial arts. The manga ends very nicely and if you don't want a manga that would bet you teary-eyed, then this one is for you! No drama just plain fun and romantic as well! :-)
You won't regret reading this but that is of course...if you are into reading shoujo manga!!!

CLAMP comedy -- XXXholic

This is a 24-episode anime series that I truly had a good time watching. It`s one of the best from CLAMP. It is about a guy, Watanuki, who has the ability to see spirits and other supernatural beings. He comes by to this shop, unexpectedly, where your wish will be granted but it comes with a price depending on the kind of wish. The owner, Yuuko, tells him that she could get rid of Watanuki:s ability but he must work for her first. This is where the story starts rolling.
The story is supposed to be of horror/supernatural genre but it has a lot of humor in it that you get a lot of laughs and never even the slightest hint of goosebumps! Don`t get me wrong. This anime is far from being lame. Although, don`t expect for a deeper plot in it because (I`m sorry to burst your bubble!) there`s none. It`s the kind of anime to watch when you don`t have anything else to do. It`s something to get you out of that boredom state.
I love watching this anime since you get to learn a lot from it about Japanese culture and the different supernatural stuff they believe in. You get to understand a lot of things in this anime.
I came across this when I was watching a video of Jun Fukuyama in youtube doing a live dubbing of his character, Watanuki. I was interested after seeing it. I`ve read one chapter of this manga way back but after seeing Jun, it got me motivated to watch the wole series. Jun has a different kind of voice in this anime and it was fun!
Well, if you`re bored... don`t forget to watch this anime!

100% Perfect Girl -Royal Drama

I`ve been reading mangas for these past couple of days and am currently hooked with this manga. I actually thought that this would be another Cinderella kind of plot with a hint of humor in it when I started reading it but to my utter disappointment, IT ISN`T!!!!
This manga started when a prince fell in love with an ordinary girl. Yeah, the usual. Everybody thinks that the girl was very plain and, indeed, she is. It was all a dream-come-true kind of thing at first but everything turned sour, topsy-turvy and totally chaotic. With all those mafia stuff and revenge schemes in it, why won`t it be that chaotic? Their love was plunged into a hurricane of unfortunate events. Everything gets worse and worse.
I hate this manga for having too much tragedy brought into it. I`m hooked with it since I already got this far and it annoys me. I also hate the fact that they are putting in a lot of effort to have some humorous scenes but believe me, they`re not good at it.
So while I`m out here sulking, wondering why I`m still reading it... Go find another manga to read!

A unique anime crossed my path -- Jyu Oh Sei!

This anime happened to just be one of those that I happened to watch. I was opening animecrazy and went through their ranking of anime series at their site. I was looking for some anime that I haven't heard before and this was one of those anime. It was ranked 100+ out of over 700 anime series so I thought it wouldn't be bad to try watching it. I read the summary and at its only review. I decided to watch it since it only runs for 11 episodes so I said to myself that I could endure watching an anime that short.
The anime is about twins, Thor and Rai, which is set in the very far future. They were living at a space colony but were suddenly thrown to an unknown planet called Chimera where they struggle to survive.
I'm not going to tell much more than that because there would be a lot of spoilers. I just want you people to know the story as you watch it and understand it at the end since the whole story will only be understood when you get to watch the last 2 episodes of it.
I like this anime because of how unique it is. It's the major reason I decided to watch it. It was unexpectedly good and decent considering I didn't really expect much from it. There's one hell of a major twist by the end of the story that would make you say "WTF?!?!?" Let's just leave it at there. Yes, you got that right. I had that reaction because everything was really good and I don't know how I was supposed to react when everything was revealed at the end. There's a lot of good action scenes, some romance, camaraderie and the like. What I love about this anime was that while I was watching the first few episodes and listened to the seiyuu of the younger Thor/Rai, I was really thinking where I heard that certain voice actor. Well, it was Conan in Detective Conan. No wonder. I've been watching that anime like years ago and I liked it. The voice was so cute although in a different way, not in its usual "conan" way. There's also a great seiyuu in it that really got me searching whose deep voice owned it! It amazed me to know that it was Shun Oguri's voice! He's Hanazawa Rui from HYD and Sano Izumi from Hana Kimi. He only did like 4 anime dubbing in his career so it was a rare find -- very unexpected to hear his voice in this anime. Well, it's quite clear I love the seiyuus in this anime. :-)
Well, to conclude, if you want to kill time by watching a short anime which is worth it --then Jyu Oh Sei should be in your list. A decent anime to raise your interest about the future.

Skip Beat! Mania

I'm currently hooked with this manga, Skip Beat!, by Yoshiki Nakamura. I came across this manga right after the airing of its first episode. I thought it was interesting so I watched the it and I can't stop thinking about the whole story. It ended up with me reading the manga for 2 days. I think you get the picture of how this story really got me into it.
The story goes with this girl named Kyoko Mogami who left her hometown to go to the bustling city and live with her "boyfriend", or so she thought, Sho Fuwa. Sho was aspiring to become a famous star in the world of music. Kyoko, on the other hand, supported him with everything she has by working left and right for their living expenses because they were living together. At one point when the story just started, Kyoko overheard Sho's conversation with his manager and badmouthed her. Kyoko was full of rage upon hearing the conversation. She then decided to dive in to the world of show business without any inkling of an idea what it really is. Thus began her journey towards stardom and her dream of beating Sho in his very own stage.
This manga was actually made into an anime. Although it was the main reason why I read the manga but I stopped watching it and I did watch the last episode though to see at what part it would end. The manga is currently at the top of my list of must-read right now. The art is just amazing. That's where the anime disappointed me.
The manga centers on Kyoko and everything that she has been struggling personally in her love life and in her career as an actress as well. There are a lot of love interests as well so you could pick who you'd be rooting for. :-)
This manga is full of beautifully and neatly drawn characters in it. I love this manga because it's very unique and it doesn't entirely focus on love but when it does-- it's gonna be a roller coaster ride where you'd be hoping more and more of it!!!

Still contemplating on Pandora Hearts...

Pandora Hearts, personally, was one of my favorite anime series. You got that right. It's in its past tense.
Now, I'm still thinking if whether it was a good anime or not. Well, I would say everything really was great but they spoiled it at the end! I bet not one person is satisfied on how the anime ended. Although, everyone is longing for a 2nd season but there's still no official announcement so until then let's just cross our fingers because this anime series definitely needs another season!!!
Pandora Hearts is a quite complicated anime but let's just say that its a distorted version of "Alice in Wonderland"-- courtesy of a stranger who described the anime while I was watching it. It's about a boy named Oz Bezarius, a girl - Alice (also called B-Rabbit) and everything that revolves around these main characters. It's really hard to make a summary since I don't know where to start and I apologize for that.
The anime really didn't attract me at first since the art was only so-so when I tried watching the first 2 minutes of the 1st episode but when it was on its 13th episode, I decided to watch it and I got hooked. I'm glad I decided to watch it. It was really a great anime -- very unique one indeed. Week after week, it got me itchin' to watch more and more of it! That's how I loved this anime. It has all kinds of things in it. It has a good amount of humor in it that I get to laugh once in a while -- this is one funny anime, believe me. If there's an anime that could harmoniously blend humor, action, drama, mystery, thriller, fantasy and a little romance as well (but very very little)... IT WOULD DEFINITELY BE PANDORA HEARTS!!!
The plot and character development was very well-presented. You get to know the characters and understand them but there are a lot of, as I said earlier, mystery in this anime so you really look forward to the next episode but this anime actually has a manga and if you want huge spoilers -- start reading it. I tried reading it once but I decided I'll just watch the anime. I might reconsider and read it now that the anime has ended -- too bad. I actually wanted more action and wanted to know more about those mysteries but I guess there's really no other way but to read the manga. It's actually quite far already from where the anime ended.
This series has a very stellar cast of seiyuus in it. We get to hear from Jun Fukuyama (Lelouche's seiyuu) again as an antagonist. We also have Junko Minagawa, who voice-acted Ryoma Echizen from POT, as the protagonist, Oz. Kosuke Toriumi who played Gennosuke in Basilisk is also part of this anime. Lastly, we have Akira Ishida who was Gaara's seiyuu in Naruto as a very funny supporting character. The soundtrack though is not really very impressive for me but it was good.
Earlier, I mentioned about this anime not having much of the kind of art I'm looking for but it's actually more than I expected. It's actually a little above the average but there are times that it's just a little too rough and there are also times when you doubt if they actually worked hard on it. You just have to see to know what I'm talking about. It just seemed like they were in a hurry doing this anime.
So... what the hell are you waiting for?!?!??! Start watching this anime and feel my disappointment with the last episode!!!! wahahahahaha! LOL
HONESTLY, just go watch this anime. It's all worth it. You'll definitely be craving for more and praying, like me and all others, for a 2nd season! :-)
Now, I just finished contemplating and have decided that this anime was really great!!! Still hoping for that 2nd season to come!!!!

I'll make it a habit to post a review--a short one for every manga that I read so I could look back and see how much I've been reading and what I've been reading this whole time. I'll also occasionally post some reviews of past mangas that I read since I really want to track those down because sometimes I just start reading this interesting manga and I would say, "Hey! I've already read this!" See what I'm getting at?

Surprisingly deep anime - Hanasakeru Seishonen

I have been following this anime, Hanasakeru Seishonen, right from when it started. It got me really hooked into it and now it is actually turning out to be a very good one.
It is an anime about a certain heiress named Kajika Burnworth who was made to play this husband-hunting game by his father. Kajika has to choose from 3 unique and wealthy bishoune-- but there's actually a fourth guy involved but he's not really initially part of the game. You got that right--a love pentagon.
Reading this overview would get you to think its another romantic comedy anime series but you're gravely mistaken. There's a lot more in store for you and there's only little room for laughter. Although you could say that it would get you giggling but its not like those other shoujo anime that would make you laugh so hard that you could cry.
This anime has a political theme in it and has a lot of conspiracy as well. There are huge twists in the story that would get you wanting to know what happens in the next episode. This anime does center on the romance between Kajika and each of the guys involved. The anime is progressing well and you would see how important Kajika's decision is.
The anime has a lot of bishounen in it. Girls can definitely feast their eyes on all 4 guys. It just so happens that Kajika is not that pretty but she somehow has this unique charm in her that draws these 4 guys to her. Well, others just say that she's a flirt. Yeah, I know, you could say she is. She is quite selfish and naive too. In reality, girls somehow are like that. Each character has their own story and you could see how each differs from each other. They have different personalities and beliefs that I myself can't choose whom I want Kajika to pick but everyone knows that it would be her childhood friend since they have pictures together in both the opening and ending songs of the anime. Too bad that we could somehow picture how it ends but as they say it's the struggle that is important--the journey.
The seiyuus are good as well. We also get to hear Jun Fukuyama(FYI: Lelouche's seiyuu) as one of the husband candidates. The soundtrack is also great. I love the music backgrounds when it gets to a good part. The opening and ending songs are both performed by J-min. I have come to love the ending song. You've got to hear it. It's a good find.

Well, I`ve just gone through on one of my daily routines which is checking at animeseason on new subbed episodes of new or ongoing anime. Here, I got to watch this very funny anime--Nyan Koi! I never really cared to watch this anime but then I got bored and tried to watch it. Although I did browse on this manga at mangafox when it gets updated and has very good ratings so I just decided to watch it. I read the synopsis and it was interesting enough. The genre of this anime also got me maybe because of ToraDora. I just wanted to see another shoujo comedy anime.
So there I was, waiting for the Veoh player to load at least 5 mins before i`ll start watching it. To start off, the anime which hasn`t been running for more than 2 mins already got me laughing so hard!!!
Now, I`ve got another anime to look forward to every week. :-)

Heart-wrenching drama -- Byousoku 5 Centimeter per Second

This anime movie will make you think on a lot of things after seeing it especially for those people who are in relationships...
Just brace yourself for a lot of spoilers on this review though...
First of all, we see Takaki and Akari together as kids watching the cherry blossoms fall -- talking about how they fall with a speed of 5 centimeter per second. They wanted to watch the cherry blossoms fall the next year but it never happened because Takaki had to move (this is a very essential part in understanding the last part of the movie). Both of them were very close that made a lot of classmates tease on their relationship but it didn't affect their friendship though. They kept on communicating through letters. After a year or so, they agreed to see each other again and a lot of unfortunate events happened to Takaki that delayed him from the agreed time to see Akari. He was already expecting that Akari won't be there any longer but, surprisingly, she was still waiting at the agreed station. They talked and spent the whole cold and snowy night together. They shared a kiss on that night that changed a lot of things between them but they weren't able to say to each other about their feelings. Each had letters to give to the other but neither gave it. After that night, they tried to still keep in touch and as years passed it slowly faded.
Takaki always held on to his memories of Akari and tried to go on with life. He experienced having other women in his life but he never forgot about Akari and his feelings for her. Meanwhile, on the other hand, Akari has moved on and we see her about to get married but she still think of Takaki sometimes. Akari and Takaki made those memories precious to their lives but there's nothing more to it than just memories and, unconsciously, they thought that all they would like to do one more time is to see the cherry blossoms fall again which they never had the chance to do.
*My thought on this movie*
In this movie, we get to see a pair of people who thought of a lot of "what-ifs" in their lives which is a bad thing especially on Takaki. We witness how he was just living life as it is and hanging on to those memories of him and Akari when they were still young. As years passed, it finally took a toll on him and he just gave up on everything. He never really moved on which is so sad because we see Akari who has moved on and was already engaged. Akari just smiles when she thinks of her childhood memories with Takaki which was opposite with what happened in Takaki's life. Somehow, the story ended with them getting the chance to see the cherry blossoms fall again which never happened. We see the effects of long distance relationships as well. This movie really squeezed my heart because it got me things that a lot of things could've happened in the movie. Well, it turned to the worst part. We can't deny that things like these do happen in reality and somehow we should just look at our past and smile because there's nothing else we can do about it.
I love this movie because it's really rare to see an anime with this kind of theme. You get to understand Takaki when you hear movie's theme song "One more time, one more chance" by Yamazaki Masayoshi. The main part in the movie was when this song played along with scenes that happened in each of Takaki's and Akari's lives from the very start of the movie until the end which I'm gonna post down there. I love this song so much. Here's the lyrics and its english translation.

"I Give my First Love to You"
I've been following this manga for a year now. Now, there's gonna be a japanese live action movie based on this manga which I am very excited about. Before I start writing about my excitement on this movie, I'm gonna give you an idea what this manga or movie is about.
The story is basically all about the effects of having a disease that would eventually take your life when you're still young. Well, it's a different thing when you know about it when you're still very young so that's how Takuma was at the start of the story. Takuma is someone who thinks that he shouldn't love because he doesn't want to hurt the person he loves, whose name is Mayu by the way, when he dies. The story revolves on that thought. I've already read about the summary on how the manga ended although scanlations are still a long way from there but it has a very good ending and I just don't want to divulge it because I don't know how the movie will end so let's just cross our fingers for now.
I've seen the trailer and I think this will be a very good movie and seeing that Mao Inoue would be the main character, Mayu, I know this one would turn out to be a great movie since I've seen her Makino role in Hana Yori Dango and it was exceptional! I've seen Masaki Okada in his minor role as Sekime in Hana Kimi and it was also good although, of course, we didn't get to see much of him on that series. I can't wait to see the subbed version on this movie!
OMG! It'll be showing this October and it's almost October! I'm getting all impatient all of a sudden!

TORADORA!!!!

This series got me to laugh so hard and cry as well... The story starts off when the clumsy Taiga places a love letter for her crush on the wrong bag that unfortunately belongs to the alleged class "delinquent", Ryuuji. Surprisingly, both of them are neighbors and it somehow ended up with both of them agreeing to help each other on their individual love lives.
From there, the story progresses with a lot of humor in it and a touch of drama for both characters but there are also times when other supporting characters have their share on the limelight. We witness both the main characters on how they cope up with rejection, acceptance, change, family matters, school, society, and all other emotions. As I said, this series has all the essential elements on it.
The plot is not as complicated but it's very unique in its own way. I guess maybe because I'm tired of the usual opposites attract kind of romance like rich-poor, dumb-intelligent, ugly-pretty, delinquent-popular, etc. match ups. This series never focused on their intelligence which is a good thing because I hate it when there's someone who gets to be so slow in the brain. The plot builds up smoothly and the characters are portrayed well. The seiyuu of Taiga was the best ever. I just love Taiga's character.
The art is more than decent. Just the right amount. Not too much color. It's actually very simple and neat. I love it that way.
The music is also good. The series has 2 songs for the opening and another 2 for the ending. This is a short anime series but you get to be satisfied on the outcome of the story. It's not a cliffhanger so you don't get to be making your own assumptions on how the story ends.
Overall, I just love this series so much and I love TAIGA!!!! She's my favorite anime character for now and definitely would still be in the list in the future.
You just have to watch it to know what I'm talking about.
